Little Jean De Dieu is a 4 year boy that I sponsor. He lives with is father with 1 brother and 1 sister in Rwanda. Jean De Dieu and his family live in a community that is severely affected by the HIV/AIDs crisis. Jean De Dieu is to young for school so he helps out at home and in the fields by carrying water to help out.
Rwanda which is roughly the size of the state of Maryland is the second smallest country in Africa and also the most densely populated with the population of about 8.8 million. About 90 percent of its people are engaged in farming. Where the avg. Annual income is only $220 a year.

Helping Farmers increase their crops by providing seeds,equipment,and training in agroforestry ans soil conservation methods.
Building homes for ophans and child-headed families.
Working with communities to encourage the peacebuilding process to restore peace to the lives of these little ones.
